International and flexible 

 

The extension International Association for Technical Issues related to Wood (Internationaler Verein für Technische Holzfragen e.V.) represents members across four continents and a increasing field of activity.

 

As well as a geographical expansion the iVTH opens its promotion to further research institutes besides the Fraunhofer-Institut for Wood Research WKI.

 

New impulses for wood research shall be given by cooperation with other research associations.
