14^th European Wood-based Panel Symposium

October 14 - 16, 2026, Hamburg

Together with the organizers from Fraunhofer WKI and the European Panel Federation (EPF), we look back on an extremely successful symposium: with around 360 participants from 26 nations, the 14th edition of the event recorded impressive international interest. The venue was once again the Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg. As usual, the symposium was supported by Hywax GmbH and other sponsors.

Experts from industry, science, and associations used the two-day conference to engage in comprehensive discussions about innovations and future issues in the field of wood-based panels. A total of 21 technical presentations provided not only in-depth insights but also opened up exciting new perspectives. The program was rounded out by an expanded accompanying trade exhibition as well as a comprehensive poster session. In addition to the welcome evening, the evening reception hosted by Hywax GmbH at the Altonaer Kaispeicher also provided an opportunity for convivial exchange. The generously allotted breaks also offered ample opportunity for networking.
